The White House has expressed deep concern over reports of rape, torture, and mistreatment of Palestinian prisoners by the Israeli Occupation military.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre emphasized in a press briefing on Wednesday the importance of "Israel" treating all prisoners in accordance with international law.

She stressed the necessity of adhering to legal standards and noted that they are closely monitoring the investigation initiated by the Israeli Occupation military into the sexual assault of a Palestinian prisoner.

Similarly, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated that the Israeli Occupation must conduct a thorough investigation into the sexual assault of a Palestinian prisoner.

This comes after a video surfaced showing Israeli Occupation soldiers sexually assaulting a Palestinian prisoner inside a detention facility.
